Gruver Farms is a great place for taking family photos. A farm atmosphere with Christmas trees as a backdrop makes the ideal location for your session.
The farm will be closed to the public on photo sessions days and there will be no activities taking place.
Professional photographers hosting sessions and families wanting to take their own photos can book their sessions at the farm through the Registration Form.
Rules of Photography Session
I. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel sessions up to 2 weeks before session and receive a full refund.
Rain dates will be rescheduled on another day.
You will not receive a refund if your clients cancel sessions (photographer is responsible for collecting their own non-refundable deposit from their clients under their own specific cancellation policies)
II. Vehicles in Fields
No vehicles will be allowed past the parking lot or into the fields.
If you drive into the field, your session and any future sessions, will be cancelled with no refunds.
III. Props and Decor
No props or decor are provided. You must provide any props or decor deemed necessary for the session.
You must carry all props into the field where your set up is.
Photographers may not use other photographers props or set ups.
IV. Footwear
Photographers and clients must wear closed toed shoes to walk in and out of the fields from photo session set up.
No sandals are allowed. You are able to change shoes once you get to your desired photo session location.
V. Set-Up
Photographers and clients may enter the field 30 minutes prior to start time and must exit 30 minutes after session time.
You may not set up in a location that interferes with another photographers shots and must keep your clients out of other's photos.
Gruver Farms is not responsible for helping clients find your location in the fields. You must provide the necessary communication with your clients.
VI. Pets
Dogs are welcome at the farm but MUST be leashed at all times.
Please pick up and dispose of poop.
VII. Vandalism
Any tree cut on property will have a fine of $500 (any size tree).
Any other damages to fields, crops, structures, fencing, etc. will be assessed based on damage and will be charged back to the individual who did the damage.
VIII. Facilities
There are no restroom facilities on the property. Please communicate this with your clients.
"Agreement and Warning: I understand and acknowledge that, except for limited circumstances listed below, an agritourism activity provider is not liable for any injury to or death of a participant resulting from an agritourism activity. I understand that I have accepted all risk of injury, death, property damage and other loss that may result from an agritourism activity. I understand that an agritourism activity provider is not protected from liability if the provider:
Performs an act in a grossly negligent manner and causes injury or damages to a participant.
Purposefully causes a participant's injury.
Acts or fails to act in a way that constitutes criminal conduct.
Recklessly fails to warn or guard against a dangerous condition that causes injury or damages to a participant. A dangerous condition is a condition that creates an imminent and substantial risk of injury or damages to a participant."
